Monique Guérin-Simonnaud

Author

Monique Guérin-Simonnaud, a retired teacher originally from Charente, lives in Le Pin after having taught for many years in Cerizay.

In addition to teaching and her love for the French language, she is interested in history and genealogy. She also serves as the secretary of the Académie d'Angoumois.

While she has mostly written about her native Charente, this time she has made an exception with this story, for which her neighbor and friend, Noëlle Pouplin, a former mayor of Le Pin, entrusted her with the historical and chronological framework.
