Barbara Bowes

Barbara’s grandparents, John Arthur and Mattie Lincoln, came to Sioux Lookout circa 1925. Born into a family of five in Sioux Lookout, Barbara attended Central Public School and Queen Elizabeth High School. She left to attend university, and now resides in Winnipeg. She returns regularly to Sioux Lookout and engages in management consulting services in the area.

Barbara hosted a popular radio program for seven years, is a newspaper columnist, and the author of seven books. She is also a management consultant specializing in human resources, an executive coach, and a career specialist. Sioux Lookout continues to hold a special place in Barbara’s heart
